The new Doha International Airport (NDIA) is scheduled to open in December 2011. The building of the airport started in 2004. New Doha International Airport (NDIA) is going to be the hub of Qatar Airways (QR). New Doha International Airport (NDIA) will employ 50,000 people approximately. New Doha International Airport (NDIA) is going to use the latest technology for passenger processing.
ReplyDeleteNew Doha International Airport will be an airport which we will be proud of. It will be themed as water and waves. The land area of the airport will be 22 square kilometers; handling about 50 million passengers as well as 2 million tonnes of cargo yearly.
ReplyDeletePassenger’s terminal will be featuring big areas for duty free, food and beverage 100-room transit hotel rooms over 150 check in desks, 44 immigration desks and 44 security screening stations. The air port will have 2 runways.
The estimated time to finish the first part of the airport which will be able to handle 12 million passengers is on December/ 18 /2011. This date is chosen to be on Qatar’s National Day. The airport will be the home base and hub for Qatar Airways. It will also provide unconstrained Airbus A380 aircraft operations.The airport will employ over 50,000 employees.

NDIA will provide two long runways. NDIA will include two different terminals, passenger terminal and Emiri terminal. NDIA will have 175 check in desks. NDIA will offer 50,000 jobs.
The New Doha International Airport (NDIA) that will open in December 2011 in the national day. That cover 22 kilometer square with two runways, 100 parking for aircraft, receiving 360 thousand airplanes and 24 million passengers per year.
ReplyDeleteThe airport will have many facilities for the passengers, airlines, cargo companies and the crew who will work in the airport. For example, there is a big area in the center of the building that allocated for the duty-free, restaurant, waiting places, some entertainment places for the passengers also 100 hotel rooms with medical service. There will be food service that can make 85 thousand meals per day.
The airport can receive any type of aircraft and size like Airbus A380.the terminal will included with 175 check-in desks that will help to process the passengers easily and efficiently. With this airport we will be proud of it that will be one of the best airports in the world.

Also NDIA it will be the hub of Qatar Airways. The NDIA will be an international airport that we can be proud of . It will handle 50 million passengers , two million tons of cargo and 320,000 aircraft landings and take off each year. NDIAs eastern 2 runways will be 4850 meters long, among the longest commercial runways in the world. Many of the new airport buildings have a water theme. The passenger terminal root is shaped like a wave, so NDIA facilities will include a passenger terminal , Emiri terminal, public mosque, air traffic control , cargo terminal and aircraft maintenance base and advanced airport systems. It will be among the first international airport to be specifically designed with the Airbus 380 in mind. They marked by creating 50,000 new job opportunities so it is a very big number when I just imagine. I hope to work their. =)
ReplyDeleteNDIA is mean New Doha International Airport and that will going to open the first section in Dec18, 2011 in Qatar national day. This will going to be big project for Qatar because any type of aircraft can land in this airport and airbus A380 also can land there.
ReplyDeleteWhen they open the first section for New Doha International Airport it can contain 24 million of passengers in the year but when they complete the project it will can contain 50 million passengers in the year.
There are many new facility for this airport for example there are two big runways, big air-traffic control tower and there are 41 gate connect with airport and 21 gate unconnected.
